Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they traded in thy fairs with rubies and purple and broidered work and fine linen and coral and pearls.

But Jesus did not trust himself unto them because he knew all men and needed not that any man should give testimony, for he knew what was in man.


Then Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip's wife and for all the evils which Herod had done,
