These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office.

And thou shall put them upon Aaron thy brother, and upon his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest's office.
And thou shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest's office.
and thou shall anoint them, as thou anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest's office. And their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

Why have ye not eaten the sin-offering in the place of the sanctuary, seeing it is most holy, and he has given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before LORD?

And he shall bring the bullock to the door of the tent of meeting before LORD. And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the bullock, and kill the bullock before LORD. And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before LORD, before the veil of the sanctuary. And the priest shall put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before LORD, which is in the tent of meeting, and all the blood of the bullock he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering, which i And all the fat of the bullock of the sin-offering he shall take off from it. The fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is upon the innards, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the loins, and the caul upon the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away, as it is taken off from the ox of the sacrifice of peace-offerings. And the skin of the bullock, and all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, and its innards, and its dung, even the whole bullock he shall carry forth outside the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire. It shall be burnt where the ashes are poured out. And if the whole congregation of Israel err, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which LORD has commanded not to be done, and are guilty, when the sin by which they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bullock for a sin-offering, and bring it before the tent of meeting. And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before LORD, and the bullock shall be killed before LORD. And the anointed priest shall bring of the blood of the bullock to the tent of meeting. And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before LORD, before the veil. Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin-offering: In the place where the burnt-offering is killed the sin-offering shall be killed before LORD. It is most holy.

And Aaron shall present the bullock of the sin-offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself, and for his house.
Aaron shall come into the holy place this way: with a young bullock for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering.
and he said to Aaron, Take thee a calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, without blemish, and offer them before LORD.

For of the beasts whose blood is brought into the holy things for sin by the high priest, the bodies of these are burned outside the camp. Therefore Jesus also, so that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside the gate. Let us therefore go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.
By how much worse punishment do ye think he will deserve who has trampled the Son of God, and who considered profane the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who treated the Spirit of grace contemptuously?

For the law having a shadow of the good things that are coming, not the same substance of the events, with the same sacrifices that are offered continually each year, they are never able to fully perfect those who are approaching. Otherwise would they not have ceased being offered, because of those who worship, once having been cleansed, to have no further conscience of sins? Now where there is remission of these, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brothers, boldness for entrance into the holy things by the blood of Jesus, which he inaugurated for us, a new and living way through the curtain, that is, his flesh, and a great priest over the house of God, let us approach with a TRUE heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body washed in pure water.
