And Jesus seeing that a multitude ran together, rebuked the impure spirit, saying to him, Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him, and enter into him no more. And when he went into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could we not cast it out? And he said to them, This kind can go out by nothing but prayer.
