You my son Solomon, learn to know your father's God. Serve Jehovah wholeheartedly and willingly because he searches every heart and understands every thought we have. If you dedicate your life to serving him, he will accept you. On the other hand if you abandon him, he will reject you from then on.

He who is slow to anger has great understanding. He who is short tempered exalts foolishness.
He who refuses instruction (discipline) despises his own life. But he who listens to reproof understands.
The respect and reverence for Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom. All who obey his commandments show good sense (insight) and understanding. His praise endures (continues) forever.
Strike a scoffer and the simple will be wary. Reprove someone who has understanding, and he will discern knowledge.

How is it we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, or of the rulers of this age, who come to nothing (are doomed to destruction)? We speak the wisdom of God in a secret, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the ages (generations and human entities) for our glory. This is so we might know the things that are freely given to us from God. We speak these things, not in the words that man's wisdom teaches. But we speak them with the words the Holy Spirit teaches comparing spiritual things with spiritual things. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God.
