Anger » A characteristic of fools
A fool's anger is instantly known. A prudent man conceals shame.
He who is slow to anger has great understanding. He who is short tempered exalts foolishness.
A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's anger is heavier than them both.
Do not be quick in your spirit (mind) (figurative heart) to be angry. Anger rests in the bosom of fools.

A faithful man will have many blessings. But he who hurries to be rich will not go unpunished.
The ideas of the diligent tend only to abundance. But of the one who is hasty it leads to poverty.
See a man quick to talk? There is more hope for a fool then for him.
It is foolishness and shame to answer a matter before you hear it.
It is not good to be a person without knowledge. He who hurries often misses the way.
Understanding » Who understands
He who is slow to anger has great understanding. He who is short tempered exalts foolishness.
He who refuses instruction (discipline) despises his own life. But he who listens to reproof understands.
The respect and reverence for Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom. All who obey his commandments show good sense (insight) and understanding. His praise endures (continues) forever.
Strike a scoffer and the simple will be wary. Reprove someone who has understanding, and he will discern knowledge.
My son, take my words to heart and treasure my commandments within you. Pay close attention to wisdom, and let your [mind and] heart (inner being) reach for discernment. Call out for insight. Lift up your voice for understanding. read more.
Search for wisdom as if it were silver. Hunt for it as if it were hidden treasure! If you do these things you will have respect for Jehovah and you will find the true knowledge of God! Jehovah gives wisdom. From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up insightful (sound) (substantial) wisdom for the upright. He is a shield for those who walk in integrity. He guards those on paths of justice. He watches over the way of his godly ones. You will understand righteousness and justice. You will have equity and every good course in life.

Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined. The wicked will do wickedly and none of the wicked will understand. Those who are wise will understand!
Forever, O Jehovah, your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness is throughout all generations. You established the earth, and it stands. They stand this day according to your ordinances, for all things are your servants. read more.
