But I will not completely take My loving-kindness from him, and I will not be false in My faithfulness. I will not break My covenant, nor change the thing that has gone out of My lips. Once I have sworn by My holiness that I will not lie to David. His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me. Behold, God is mighty, and does not despise; He is mighty in strength of heart. He will not keep alive one who is wicked, but gives right to the afflicted. He withdraws not His eyes from the righteous, but they are like kings on the throne; yes, He causes them to sit forever, and they are very high.
Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the refiner. Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be founded in righteousness.
