Angels » Are ministering spirits
For the angel of God stood by me this night, whose I am and whom I serve,
And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shone in the prison, and he smote Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, Arise quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he said unto him, Cast thy garment about thee and follow me. And he went out and followed him and knew not that it was true which was done by the angel, but thought he saw a vision. read more.
When they were past the first and the second guard, they came unto the iron gate that leads unto the city, which opened to them of its own accord, and they went out and passed on through one street, and then the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety that the Lord has sent his angel and has delivered me out of the hand of Herod and from all the people of the Jews who waited for me.

And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him and said unto him, Arise and eat.
The chariots of God are two thousand, thousands of angels; the Lord is among them as in Sinai, in the sanctuary.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth in service for the love of those who are the heirs of saving health?

The life is more than food, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
