Covenant » The lord being mindful of his covenant
And the agent of LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, I made you go up out of Egypt, and have brought you to the land which I swore to your fathers. And I said, I will never break my covenant with you.
And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth. Behold, God is mighty, and does not despise. He is mighty in strength of understanding. He does not preserve the life of the wicked, but gives to the afflicted [their] right. He does not withdraw his eyes from the righteous, but he sets them forever with kings upon the throne, and they are exalted.
Take away the dross from the silver, and there comes forth a vessel for the refiner. Take away the wicked [from] before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.

For his loving kindness is great toward us, and the truth of LORD [is] forever. Praise ye LORD.
