And in those days men will seek death, and shall not find it; and will desire to die, and death will flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men; and they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men five months. They have over them a king, the angel of the abyss, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek he hath for his name Apollyon. The first woe is past; behold, two woes more are yet to come. And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice out of the four horns of the golden altar, which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, Loose the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.
