Then he said unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Therefore he said unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

But I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the charity of the Spirit, that ye help me with prayers to God for me, that I may be delivered from the disobedient in Judaea and that the offering of my service to the saints in Jerusalem may be accepted, that I may come unto you with joy by the will of God and may be refreshed together with you.


praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching in this with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth with confidence, to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that in this I may speak boldly as I ought to speak.

For I know that this shall become my saving health through your prayer and the nourishment of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

Persevere in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving, praying also together for us that God would open unto us the door of the word, to speak the mystery of the Christ, for which I am also in bonds, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.


Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified, even as it is with you, And that we may be delivered from perverse and wicked men, for the faith is not of everyone.

In the same manner prepare me also a lodging; for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience in all things desiring to conduct ourselves well. And I beseech you all the more to do this, that I may be restored unto you sooner.



I will remember these things; I will pour out my soul in me. When I shall be included in the number; I will go with them to the house of God with voice of joy and praise, dancing in the multitude.

Therefore we were comforted in your comfort; yea, and we rejoiced even more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.

Insomuch that we exhorted Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also complete among you the same grace also.

For they have refreshed my spirit and yours; therefore, acknowledge ye those that are such.









And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father who art in the heavens, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so also in the earth.




He went away again the second time and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me except I drink it, thy will be done.


but bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that comes in Jerusalem, but I will return again unto you, if God wills. And he sailed from Ephesus.


For I desire not to see you now in passing, but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permits.

For I came down from the heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will who has sent me, that of all whom he has given me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again in the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, That every one who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day.

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and will know not the words of those who are puffed up, but the virtue.

And this we will indeed do, if God permits.
