So hath he mercy on whom he will. And whom he will, he maketh hard hearted.
But O man what art thou, which disputest with God? Shall the work say to the workman, "Why hast thou made me on this fashion?"

For we know well that all things work for the best unto them that love God, which also are called of purpose. For he that is called in the Lord being a servant, is the Lord's freeman. Likewise he that is called being free, is Christ's servant. Ye are dearly bought; be not men's servants. Brethren, let every man wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

The Lord is not slack to fulfill his promise as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.
