See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God! And so we are! The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

Not that any one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father.

For our light and momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are unseen are eternal.


As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough ways smooth; and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.'"
