But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

And I will surely hide my face in that day because of all the evils which they shall have done, in that they are turned unto other gods.

And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees. And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz.

And this shall be a sign unto you from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he has spoken; Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which has gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it had gone down.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto you, but my Father who is in heaven.

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
