Simon Peter said to him, Lord, not my feet only, but my hands and my head.

When therefore they had breakfasted, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? He said to him, Yes, Lord, you know that I am a friend to you. He said to him, Feed my lambs. Again he said to him a second time; Simon, son of John, do you love me? He said to him, Yes, Lord, you know that I am a friend to you. He said to him, Feed my sheep. He said to him a third time; Simon, son of John, are you a friend to me? Peter was grieved that he said to him the third time, Are you a friend to me? and he said to him, Lord you know all things; you know that I am a friend to you. Jesus said to him, Feed my sheep.


And Peter answered and said to him, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters.

And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you please, we will make here three tabernacles, one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

Then that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, It is the Lord. Then Simon Peter, hearing that it was the Lord, girded on his coat, for he was naked, and cast himself into the lake.


And Peter taking hold of him said, rebuking him, Far be it from you, Lord! This shall not be to you.

Peter said to him, You shall never by any means wash my feet. He answered him, Unless I wash you you have no part with me.

Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it and struck the servant of the chief priest, and cut off his right ear; and the name of the servant was Malchus.


But seeing the wind strong he was afraid; and beginning to sink, cried, saying, Lord save me!

But Peter sat without in the court; and a female servant came to him, saying, You also were with Jesus the Galilean. But he denied it before all, saying, I know not what you say. And going out into the porch, another [female servant] saw him, and said to those there, This man was also with Jesus the Nazoraean. read more.
And again he denied with an oath, saying, I know not the man.





And Peter answered and said to him, Explain the parable to us. And he said, Are you so entirely without understanding?


and seeing Peter warming himself, looked at him, and said, You also were with Jesus the Nazarene. But he denied it, saying, I do not know [him]; neither do I know what you say. And he went out into the porch, and a cock crew. And the female servant seeing him said to those standing by, This is one of them. read more.
But he again denied it. And after a short time those standing by again said to Peter, You are certainly one of them, for you are also a Galilean. And he cursed and swore, I know not this man of whom you speak.


Then Peter answered and said, Behold we have left all and followed you; what shall we have therefore?


Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? you have words of eternal life,


And immediately leaving their nets they followed him.
