You call me Teacher and Lord; and you say well, for I am. If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done. I tell you most truly, the servant is not greater than his lord, nor the apostle greater than he that sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. I speak not of you all; I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.

I have glorified thee on the earth; I have finished the work which thou gayest me to do. And now glorify thou me, Father, with thyself, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou gayest me out of the world; they were thine, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things which thou hast given me are of thee, because the words which thou hast given me I have given them; and they have received and known truly that I came forth from thee, and believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them. I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine, and all mine are thine, and thine mine, and I am glorified in them. And I am no longer in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep in thy name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one as we also are.
