For all the promises of God are yea in him, and amen in him, to the glory of God by us.
because he is his friend, yet, because of his importunity, he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. And I say to you, Ask, and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done for you.
And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathens; for they think they shall be heard for their much speaking.read more.
Be not therefore like them; for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Thus therefore pray ye, Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you. For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened. What man is there of you, who if his son ask bread, will give him a stone?read more.
And if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven, give good things to them that ask him?
Again I say to you, That if two of you shall agree on earth, touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
Therefore I say to you, What things soever ye ask in prayer, believe that ye shall receive, and ye shall have them.
If ye then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith? And shall not God vindicate his own elect, who cry to him day and night, though he bear long with them? I tell you he will vindicate them speedily. Yet when the Son of man cometh, will he find faith upon earth?
Watch ye therefore and pray always, that ye may be counted worthy to escape all these things which will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Jesus answered and said to her, If thou hadst known the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldst have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
We know that God heareth not sinners; but if a man be a worshiper of God, and do his will, him he heareth.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified thro' the Son.
And in that day ye shall not question me about any thing. Verily, verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give you.
And now, why tarriest thou? Arise and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us, with groanings which cannot be uttered.
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord of all, is rich to all that call upon him.
For through him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
Now to him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Let us draw near with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God, must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
If any of you want wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting: for he that doubteth is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing from the Lord.
Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you: cleanse your hands, ye sinners, and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.
Confess your faults one to another, brethren, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed: the fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
And this is the confidence which we have in him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. And if we know that he heareth us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we asked of him.
