But the day of the Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, and the earth, and the works that are on it, shall be burned up. Seeing, then, that all these things shall be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in all holy behavior, and godliness, looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, because of which coming the heavens shall dis solve in fire, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat.

For verily I say to you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one yod or one point shall in no way pass from the law till all be fulfilled.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

and the heaven departed as a volume when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place:

And he will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death; neither shall there be any more sorrow, nor crying, nor pain; for the former things have passed away.

For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the revelation of the sons of God. For the creature was subject to frailty, (not by its own will, but for his sake who subjected it,) in hope, that even the creature itself shall be made free from the bondage of corruption, and introduced into the glorious liberty of the children of God.read more.
For we know that every creature groans, and is in pain together, till now:

Then comes the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down every principality and authority and power: for he must reign till he has put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy, Death, shall be destroyed.read more.
For he has put all things under his feet. But when the scripture says, that all things are put under him, it is evident that he is excepted, who did put all things under him. And when all things shall have been put under him, then, also, shall the Son himself be subjected to him that did put all things under him, that God may be the all in all.

But you have come to Mount Zion, and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels;

But we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which dwells righteousness.

Him that overcomes, I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out no more; and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and I will write upon him my new name.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them: and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them, their God. And he that sat upon the throne said: Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me: Write, for these words are true and faithful.

And there shall not enter it any thing unclean, or that does what is detestable, or that makes a lie: but those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are: and they shall be tormented day and night from age to age.

Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they may go through the gates into the city. With out are dogs and sorcerers and lewd persons and murderers and idolaters, and every one that loves and makes a lie.

So, then, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Jesus answered and said to him: Verily, verily I say to you, unless a man be born again, he can not see the kingdom of God.

Therefore, we are buried with him, by immersion, into death, that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so also we should walk in a new life.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision is any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

having abolished, in his flesh, the cause of enmity, the law of commandments in ordinances, that he might, by himself, form the two into one new man, thus making peace;

not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

and have put on the new man, which is renewed for knowledge, ac cording to the image of him that created him;

and put on the new man, which, according to the will of God, is created in righteousness and true holiness.

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised the Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwells in you.

Be not astonished at this; for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

having hope in God, which they themselves also admit, that I there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and of the unjust.

So, also, is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption: it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power: it is sown an animal body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is an animal body, and there is a spiritual body.read more.
So, also, it is written: The first man Adam became a living soul, the last Adam a life-giving spirit. But that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is animal; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man, the Lord from heaven. As the earthy man was, such also are the earthy; and as the heavenly man is, such also shall the heavenly be. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I declare to you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible body must put on incorruptibility; and this mortal body must put on immortality. And when this corruptible body shall have put on incorruptibility, and this mortal body shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory.

who will transform our humbled body, and make it like his glorious body, according to that power by which he is able to subdue all things to himself.

For the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and will lead them to living fountains of water: and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him that overcomes, I will give of the hidden manna; and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he that receives it.

For this reason we faint not: but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day. by day.

If, then, you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where the Christ sits at the right hand of God;

In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

For we know that if our earthly house, which is but a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may learn what the will of God is the good, and the acceptable, and the perfect.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them: and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them, their God.

And they sung a new song, saying: Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation: and hast made us to our God kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth.

And they sung a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders: and no one was able to learn the song, but the hundred and forty-four thousand that had been redeemed from the earth.

And they sung the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: Great and wonderful are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who will not fear thee, Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou alone art holy; for all nations shall come and worship before thee: because thy judgments are made manifest.

and not only they, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by this hope; but hope that is seen is not hope; for, what any one sees, why does he also hope for it? But if we hope for that which we see not we wait for it with patience.

and, if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider the sufferings of the present time not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed for us.

For we know that if our earthly house, which is but a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house that is from heaven, since, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked.read more.
For we who are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened, not because we wish to be unclothed, but clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now, he that has formed us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the earnest of the Spirit.
