And, if he disregard them, tell it to the assembly; and, if he disregard the assembly also, let him be to you as the gentile and the tax-collector.

I wrote to you, in my letter, not to keep company with fornicators; not at all meaning, with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or idolaters; since ye ought, in that event, to go out of the world; but, as it is, I wrote not to keep company, if anyone, called a brother, be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner??ith such a one, not even to eat.
And, if anyone obey not our word through this letter, note this one, not to associate with him, that he may be ashamed.
