Therefore, if food causes my brother to fall, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause my brother to fall.
It is right not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that makes your brother stumble.
But food will not commend us to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.

who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit;
