I tell you most truly, he that hears my word and believes him that sent me has eternal life, and comes not into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

But you are not in the flesh but in the spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. And if any man has not the spirit of Christ he is not his.

Know you not that you are a temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in you?

for the hope of eternal life, which God who cannot lie announced before eternal ages,

not by works of righteousness which we did but according to his mercy he saved us through the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit, which he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; that having been justified by his grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Wherefore, brothers, use the greater diligence to make your calling and election sure; for doing these things you shall never fall. For thus shall you have an abundant entrance given you into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
