Jehovah looked down from Heaven on the sons of men, to see if there were any who understood and sought God. All have gone aside, together they are filthy; there is none who does good, no, not one.

They acted corruptly, and have worked out abominable wickedness; there is not one doing good. God looked down from Heaven on the sons of mankind to see if any was discerning, who was seeking God. Every one has turned away; they have altogether become filthy; not one is doing good, no, not even one.
From the host of tyrannies they cry out; they cry out because of the arm of the multitude. But none says, Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night;
Through the pride of his face the wicked will not seek Him; There is no God in all his schemes. His ways are always perverted; Your judgments are high, out of his sight. As for all his enemies, he puffs at them. He has said in his heart, I shall not be moved; from generation to generation, never in evil!read more.
His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud; under his tongue are mischief and vanity. He sits in the hiding-places of the villages; in the secret places he murders the innocent. His eyes are secretly set against the poor. He lies in wait secretly, like a lion in his den. He lies in wait to catch the poor; he catches the poor when he draws him into his net. He crouches and bows, and the poor have fallen by his might. He has said in his heart, God has forgotten; He hides His face; He will not see forever!

For he flatters himself in his own eyes in order to find his iniquity, to hate it. The words of his mouth are evil and deceit; he has stopped acting wisely and doing good.read more.
He plots evil on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not hate evil.
A hypocrite corrupts his neighbor with his mouth; but through knowledge the just shall be delivered.
remove far from me vanity and a lying word; give me neither poverty or riches; tear for me my portion of bread, lest I be full and deceive, and say, Who is Jehovah? Or lest I be poor, and steal, and violate the name of my God.
For both prophet and priest are ungodly; yes, in My house I have found their evil, says Jehovah. So their way shall be to them as slippery ways in the darkness; they shall be driven on, and fall in them; for I will bring evil on them, even the year of their judgment, says Jehovah.
Can the rush grow up without mire? Can the reed-grass grow without water? While it is yet in its greenness, and not cut down, it dries out before any other herb. So are the paths of all who forget God; and the hope of the ungodly shall perish.read more.
His hope shall be cut off, and his trust shall be in a spider's web. He shall lean on his house, but it shall not stand; he shall hold fast to it, but it shall not endure. He is moist before the sun, and his branches shoot forth in his garden. His roots are wrapped around the heap, and he sees the place of stones. If he is destroyed from his place, then it shall deny him: I have not seen you. Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.
And He gives quietness, who then can condemn? And when He hides His face, who can behold Him? And it may be against a nation and a man together; from the reigning of ungodly men, from being snares for the people.
The wicked shall be turned into hell, all the nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten; the hope of the poor shall not perish forever. Arise, O Jehovah; let not man be strong. Let the nations be judged in Your sight.read more.

For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
Though he slay me, I will not wait, but I will maintain my own ways before Him. He also is my salvation, for an ungodly one shall not come before Him.
For the company of the ungodly shall be barren, and fire shall devour the tents of bribery.
Do you know this from days of old, from the setting of man on earth, that the exulting of the wicked is short, and the joy of the ungodly is for a moment?
For what is the hope of the ungodly when He cuts off, when God takes away his soul? Will God hear his cry when trouble comes on him? Will he delight himself in the Almighty? Will he always call on God?
And if they are bound in chains, and are held in cords of affliction, then He shows them their work, and their sins, that they have behaved themselves proudly. He also opens their ears to teaching, and commands that they return from iniquity.read more.
If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in blessedness, and their years in pleasures. But if they do not obey, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge. But the ungodly in heart heap up wrath; they cry not when He binds them.
But to the wicked, God says, What is it to you, to declare My Precepts, and to take up My covenant in your mouth? Yea, you hate to be taught, and you toss My Words behind you. When you saw a thief, then you were pleased to be with him, and you have taken part with adulterers.read more.
You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit. You sit; you speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's son. These things you have done, and I have kept silence; you thought that I was like yourself, but I will rebuke you, and set in order before your eyes. Now think of this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
I will send him against an ungodly nation, and against the people of My wrath. I will command him to take the plunder, and to strip off the spoil, and to trample them like the mud of the streets.
You who are far off, hear what I have done; and you near ones, know My might. The sinners in Zion are afraid; terror has surprised profane ones. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
But refuse profane and old-womanish tales, and exercise yourself to godliness.
O Timothy, guard the Deposit, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of falsely-named science, which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.
And so all Israel shall be saved; as it is written, "There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob. For this is My covenant with them, when I have taken away their sins."
