because if our consciences do condemn us, God is greater than our consciences, and He knows everything.

For whoever obeys the whole law, except to slip in a single instance, is guilty of breaking it all.

Jesus answered them, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty, but now you keep on claiming, 'We can see'; so your sin remains."

So when a man knows what is right but does not do it, he is guilty of sin.

So then there is no condemnation at all for those who are in union with Christ Jesus.

Now we know that everything the law says is spoken to those who are under its authority, that every mouth may be stopped and the whole world be held responsible to God.

Who of you can prove me guilty of sin? But if I do tell you the truth, why do you not believe me?

"And when He comes, He will bring conviction to worldly people about sin and uprightness and judgment;

Otherwise, would they not have ceased offering them, because those who offered them, having once been purified, would have had no further consciousness of sins?
