So I tell you, for every worthless word that men utter they will have to give account on the day of judgment;
Many of you, my brothers, should avoid becoming teachers, because you know that we teachers are going to be judged with stricter judgment than other people.
Now in this matter of trustees the first and final requirement is that they should prove to be trustworthy.
But the one who does wrong without knowing it will be lightly punished. Much will be demanded from anyone to whom much has been given; yea, people will demand much more from anyone to whom they have entrusted much.

Now we know that everything the law says is spoken to those who are under its authority, that every mouth may be stopped and the whole world be held responsible to God.
Let us stop neglecting our meeting together, as some do, but let us continue to encourage one another, and all the more because you see that the great day is drawing near.
All who sin without having the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.

So the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who decided to settle up his accounts with his slaves,

Then why should you criticize your brother? Or, why should you look down on your brother? Surely, we shall all stand before God to be judged, for the Scripture says: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee shall bend before me, and every tongue shall make acknowledgment to God.'" So each of us must give an account of himself to God.
