Evening and morning and at noon I will pray and cry aloud, and he shall hear my voice.
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me and from the words of my cry? O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
Now she that is a widow indeed and desolate, trusts in God, and is diligent in supplications and prayers night and day,

And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that it behooves us always to pray and not faint,
saying, There was in a city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man; and there was a widow in that city, and she came unto him, saying, Defend me from my adversary. And he would not for a while, but afterward he said within himself, Though I do not fear God, nor regard man,read more.
yet because this widow troubles me, I will do her justice, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge says. And shall not God avenge his own elect who cry day and night unto him though he bears long regarding them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth?
praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching in this with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints
For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I always remember you in my prayers, making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
Epaphras, who is one of you, a slave of Christ, salutes you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand firm, perfect and fulfilled in all the will of God.

Give ear to my prayer, O God, and do not hide thyself from my supplication. Attend unto me and hear me: I mourn in my complaint and make a noise
Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry unto thee when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
but let man and beast be covered with sackcloth and cry mightily unto God; and let each one turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands.
