for out of the heart of men proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murthers, thefts, avarice, malice, deceit, lasciviousness, envy, slander, pride, folly; all these evils come from within and defile the man.
For out of the heart proceed wicked disputings, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false-witnessings, slanders: these defile a man, but to eat without washing the hands doth not defile him.

Charity beareth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity is not insolent, is not puffed up, doth not behave indecently, is not selfish, is not easily provoked, suspecteth no evil, rejoiceth not at injustice, but rejoiceth in the truth:read more.

For we also were formerly foolish, disobedient, going astray, enslaved to various disorderly appetites and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
