Bring forth, therefore, fruit worthy of repentance: and think not to say within yourselves, "We have Abraham for our father; for I say to you that God is able from these stones to raise up children to Abraham.read more.
Even now the ax is lying at the root of the trees: therefore, every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

When Jesus came into the regions of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying: Who do men say that I, the Son of man, am? They replied: Some say that thou art John the Immerser; others, Elijah; others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.
At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus; and he said to his servants: This is John The Immerser; he has risen from the dead; and for this reason the powers of the spiritual world are active within him.
