for it is written, "as I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God."

wherefore God has highly exalted and given him a name, which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus both angels and men, the living and the dead, should pay their adorations, and that every nation should confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, to the glory of God the father.

but Peter turn'd them all out, and kneeled down and prayed, then turning towards the body, Tabitha, said he, arise immediately. she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

After this discourse, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.

that time being ended, we departed, being conducted by them in a body with the women and children quite out of the city, where we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.

Thus they stoned Stephen, while he was calling upon God, and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."
