When, therefore, the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those husbandmen? They said to him, He will inflict on those men a miserable death, and let out his vineyard to other husbandmen, who will render him the fruits in their seasons.

But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours. And seizing him, they killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard. What will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy those husbandmen, and let the vineyard to others.
And he spoke to the people this parable; A man planted a vineyard, and let it out to husbandmen, and went abroad for a long time. And at the time he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard; and the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty. And again he sent another servant; and they beat him, and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty. read more.
