Those things, which ye have both learned and received and heard and seen in me, do, and the God of peace shall be with you.

Brethren, be imitators of me and consider those who so walk, as ye have us for a pattern.
For you know in what manner you ought to imitate us, for we did not walk disorderly among you, neither did we eat any man's bread for nought, but working with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, Not because we did not have authority, but to give you an example that you might imitate us.
But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let those learn first to govern their house in piety and to recompense their parents, for this is honest and pleasing before God.
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and in that which has been entrusted unto thee, knowing of whom thou hast learned them,
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser; teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
If the wise will hear them, doctrine shall increase, and the man of understanding shall acquire wise counsel:
The heart of the man of understanding acquires wisdom, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Thou, therefore, who teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? Thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
