Therefore, God also has highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is Lord in the glory of God the Father.

And he is the head of the body, the congregation , who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell and by him to reconcile all things unto himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross , whether they are the things in the earth or the things in the heavens.
This is a faithful saying and worthy of acceptation by all, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
This is a faithful word: That if we are dead with him, we shall also live with him; if we suffer, we shall also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; if we are unfaithful, yet he remains faithful; he cannot deny himself.

For everything that God created is good, and nothing is to be refused, if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. This witness is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and be ready always to respond to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and reverence,
I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith;
It is expedient, therefore, that the bishop be blameless, the husband of only one wife, vigilant, temperate, of worldly affections mortified, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, unto which thou art also called, having made a good profession before many witnesses.
