We do not give up! Though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.

A man too poor to present such an offering selects wood that will not rot. He looks for a skilled craftsman to set up an idol that will not topple.
Sell your possessions and give to charity. Make yourselves purses that do not get old, a treasure in heaven where moth and rest cannot corrupt and thieves cannot steal.

You are born to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that does not fade away and is reserved in heaven for you.
You have been given a new birth, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and endures.
Let your appearance be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible apparel of a meek and quiet spirit. This is of great value in the sight of God.
When the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
He offered us his precious and exceedingly great promises. Through these you may become partakers of the divine nature. You will escape from the corruption that is in the lust-filled world.
