5 Bible Verses about Not Mourning

and say, We piped to you, and ye did not dance; we sung a dirge, and ye did not lament.

They are like children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, saying, We piped to you, and ye did not dance; we sung a dirge, and ye did not weep.

As much as she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, so much torment and mourning give her. For she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no mourning;

And Jesus said to them, Can the companions of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come, when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then will they fast.
