Wherefore, dear brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath.
A patient man is better than one strong; and he that can rule himself, is more worth than he that winneth a city.

Let all bitterness, fierceness and wrath, roaring and cursed speaking, be put away from you, with all maliciousness. Be ye courteous one to another, and merciful, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake forgave you.
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide aforehand things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, howbeit of your part, have peace with all men.
