10 Bible Verses about Opinions

Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment as one that hath obtained mercy from the Lord to be faithful.

And in this I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.

I said, I will answer also my part, I also will show my opinion.

A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may reveal itself.

And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, No; but he deceiveth the people. Yet, no man spoke openly of him, for fear of the Jews.

But to the rest I speak, not the Lord, if any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she is pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

By honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will privately bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

And Elijah came to all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD is God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow, though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
