8 Bible Verses about Sacrilege

What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? No, I will not.

You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

If any one destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and that temple you are.

They must be silenced, because they are upsetting whole families by teaching things they ought not to teach for the sake of sordid gain.

And Jesus entered the temple of God and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And he said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of robbers.'"

In the temple he found those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money-changers at their business. And he made a whip of cords, and drove them all, with the sheep and oxen, out of the temple; and he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. And he said to those who sold doves, "Take these things away! You shall not make my Father's house a house of merchandise!"

Then he entered the temple and began to drive out those who sold,

For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.
