But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned, and been fully assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them, And that from an infant thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, thro' faith which is in Christ Jesus.

And Jesus wrought many other miracles also, in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye may have life thro' his name.

(that is, to bring Christ again from the dead) But what saith he? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart; that is, the word of faith which we preach:

All scripture is inspired of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness;

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart unto the Lord.

Now all these things happened to them for examples, and they are written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages are come. Therefore let him that standeth, take heed, lest he fall.

Finally, brethren, be strong through the Lord, and through the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
