And now, O Lord GOD, thou art God, and thy words shall be firm, and thou hast spoken this goodness unto thy slave.

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Mem The works of his hands are truth and judgment; Nun all his commandments are sure.

In the manner which thou didst see that out of the mountain was cut one stone, not with hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has shown the king what shall come to pass hereafter; and the dream is true, and its interpretation sure.

This is a faithful saying and worthy of acceptation by all, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first.

The Word is faithful and worthy of acceptation by all. For this we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

And he that was seated upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are faithful and true.

Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. They cried unto thee and were delivered: they trusted in thee and were not confounded.

Those that trust in the LORD are as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed but abides for ever.

And it shall be said in that day, Behold, this is our God, whom we have waited for, and he has saved us: this is the LORD, whom we have waited for, we will be glad and rejoice in his saving health.

For which cause I also suffer these things; nevertheless, I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Thou shalt not have in thy bag different weights, a great and a small. Thou shalt not have in thy house different measures, a great and a small. But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have, that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God gives thee.read more.
For all that do such things and all that do unrighteously are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin shall ye have. I AM your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

A false balance is abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is his delight.

Double weights are an abomination unto the LORD, and a false balance is not good.

He is a merchant who has the balances of deceit in his hand; he loves to oppress.

Can I be pure with false balances and with a bag of deceitful weights?

Moreover they did not require accounts from the men into whose hands they delivered the money to be bestowed on workmen, for they dealt faithfully.

and there is to be no accounting required of those unto whom the money is delivered because they deal faithfully.

He that is faithful with little is faithful also with much, and he that is unjust with little is unjust also with much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

Moreover thou shalt consider out of all the people men of virtue, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness, and place princes over them, of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens.

And his sons did not walk in his ways but turned aside after greed, receiving bribes and perverting that which is right.

The riches of vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathers by labour shall increase.

A talebearer reveals secrets, but he that is of a faithful spirit conceals the matter.

He that goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets; therefore meddle not with him that flatters with his lips.

Debate thy cause with thy neighbour himself and do not uncover the secret to another

He that speaks truth shows forth righteousness, but a false witness, deceit.

Righteous lips are the delight of kings, and they love him that speaks that which is right.

These are the things that ye shall do: Speak each one the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates; and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, said the LORD.

but following the truth in charity, let us grow up into him in all things, who is the head, the Christ:

The lips of the one that gives a right answer shall be kissed.

As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to those that send him, for he refreshes the soul of his master.

Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

But he that knew not and did commit things worthy of stripes shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required; and to whom much was committed, more will be asked of him.

His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful slave, thou knewest that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I have not scattered; therefore, it was expedient for thee to have put my money to the bankers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with interest.

He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And having called ten of his slaves, he delivered them ten minas and said unto them, Trade until I come. But his citizens hated him and sent an embassy after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.read more.
And it came to pass that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these slaves to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much each one had gained by trading. Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy mina has gained ten minas. And he said unto him, Well done, thou good slave; because thou hast been faithful in a very little, thou shalt have authority over ten cities. And the second came, saying, Lord, thy mina has made five minas. And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities. And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy mina, which I have kept laid up in a napkin, for I feared thee because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that which thou didst not lay down and dost reap that which thou didst not sow. Then he said unto him, Out of thine own mouth I will judge thee, thou wicked slave. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that which I did not lay down, and reaping that which I did not sow; why then didst thou not give my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required my own with interest?

Let us reckon men as ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required in stewards that each one be found faithful.

For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, the stewardship of the gospel is committed unto me.

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, turn away from profane voices and vain things and arguments in the vain name of science,

Keep the good deposit committed unto thee by the Holy Spirit which dwells in us.

Feed the flock of God which is among you, caring for her, not by force, but willingly; not for shameful lucre, but with willing desire; and not as having lordship over the heritage of the Lord, but in such a manner as to be examples of the flock.

The wives likewise are to be honest, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.

For the bishop must be blameless, as a steward of God; not arrogant, not quick to anger, not given to wine, not hurtful, not greedy of dishonest gain,

And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand, and with him knew of nothing more than of the bread which he ate. And Joseph was handsome and well favoured.

And the men did the work faithfully, and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of Kohath, to set it forward; and others of the Levites, all those with understanding in instruments of music.
