They speak vanity every one with his neighbor: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches with which he can do no good?
In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that restraineth his lips is wise.
In all labor there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by a multitude of words.
The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness: and the end of his talk is mischievous madness.
Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession to the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
