And they asked him, saying, Teacher, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when he testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
And when he was demanded by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with outward observation:
Then Herod, when he had privately called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

And this know, that if the owner of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have allowed his house to be broken through.
Then inquired he of them the hour when he began to mend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when did you come here?
And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
