The other disciples, therefore, said to him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and press my hand into His side, I will not believe."
And they, having heard that he was alive, and was seen by her, disbelieved. And after these things He appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking, going into the country; and they, going away, told it to the rest; neither did they believe them.read more.
And afterward He was manifested to the eleven themselves, as they were reclining at table, and upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not those who saw Him after He had risen.
And He said to them, "O inconsiderate and slow in heart to believe in all that the prophets spake!
And He said, "Come." And, going down from the boat, Peter walked upon the water, and came to Jesus. But, seeing the wind, he was frightened; and, beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!" And immediately Jesus, stretching forth His hand, took hold of him, and saith to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
And, recognizing the voice of Peter, she opened not the gate for joy; but, running in, she told them that Peter was standing before the gate. And they said to her, "You are mad!" But she kept confidently affirming that it was so. And they said, "It is his angel"
