'Back' in the Bible

In the speech of a fool is a rod for his back, but the words of the wise protect them.

The backslider will be paid back from his own ways, but a good person will be rewarded for his.

The sluggard plunges his hand in the dish, and he will not even bring it back to his mouth!

Do not say, "I will pay back evil!" Wait for the Lord, so that he may vindicate you.
