'Cold' in the Bible

“While the earth remains,Seedtime and harvest,And cold and heat,And summer and winter,And day and nightShall not cease.”

“They spend the night naked, without clothing,And have no covering against the cold.

“Out of the south comes the storm,And out of the north the cold.

He casts forth His ice as fragments;Who can stand before His cold?

Like the cold of snow in the time of harvestIs a faithful messenger to those who send him,For he refreshes the soul of his masters.

Like one who takes off a garment on a cold day, or like vinegar on soda,Is he who sings songs to a troubled heart.

Like cold water to a weary soul,So is good news from a distant land.

‘Does the snow of Lebanon forsake the rock of the open country?Or is the cold flowing water from a foreign land ever snatched away?

Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.
