'Eyes' in the Bible
Though you have eyes, do you not see? And though you have ears, do you not hear and listen [to what I have said]? And do you not remember,
Taking the blind man by the hand, He led him out of the village; and after spitting on his eyes and laying His hands on him, He asked him, “Do you see anything?”
Then again Jesus laid His hands on his eyes; and the man stared intently and [his sight] was [completely] restored, and he began to see everything clearly.
If your foot causes you to stumble and sin, cut it off [that is, remove yourself from the source of temptation]! It would be better for you to enter life lame than to have two feet and be thrown into hell,
This came about from the Lord,And it is marvelous and wonderful in our eyes’?”
And again He came back and found them sleeping, because their eyes were very heavy; and they did not know how to answer Him.
