'Find' in the Bible

and said to them, "Go to the village ahead of you. As soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it here.

After noticing in the distance a fig tree with leaves, he went to see if he could find any fruit on it. When he came to it he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.

What did he mean by saying, 'You will look for me but will not find me, and where I am you cannot come'?"

Pilate asked, "What is truth?" When he had said this he went back outside to the Jewish leaders and announced, "I find no basis for an accusation against him.

Again Pilate went out and said to the Jewish leaders, "Look, I am bringing him out to you, so that you may know that I find no reason for an accusation against him."

When the chief priests and their officers saw him, they shouted out, "Crucify him! Crucify him!" Pilate said, "You take him and crucify him! Certainly I find no reason for an accusation against him!"

He told them, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they threw the net, and were not able to pull it in because of the large number of fish.

After threatening them further, they released them, for they could not find how to punish them on account of the people, because they were all praising God for what had happened.

But the officers who came for them did not find them in the prison, so they returned and reported,

Then a famine occurred throughout Egypt and Canaan, causing great suffering, and our ancestors could not find food.

There was a great commotion, and some experts in the law from the party of the Pharisees stood up and protested strongly, "We find nothing wrong with this man. What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?"

They did not find me arguing with anyone or stirring up a crowd in the temple courts or in the synagogues or throughout the city,

You will say to me then, "Why does he still find fault? For who has ever resisted his will?"

But I will come to you soon, if the Lord is willing, and I will find out not only the talk of these arrogant people, but also their power.
