'Rejoice' in the Bible

Serve the Lord with reverential aweand rejoice with trembling.

But let all who take refuge in You rejoice;let them shout for joy forever.May You shelter them,and may those who love Your name boast about You.

I will rejoice and boast about You;I will sing about Your name, Most High.

so that I may declare all Your praises.I will rejoice in Your salvationwithin the gates of Daughter Zion.

My enemy will say, “I have triumphed over him,”and my foes will rejoice because I am shaken.

But I have trusted in Your faithful love;my heart will rejoice in Your deliverance.

Oh, that Israel’s deliverance would come from Zion!When the Lord restores the fortunes of His people,Jacob will rejoice; Israel will be glad.

I will rejoice and be glad in Your faithful lovebecause You have seen my affliction.You have known the troubles of my life

Be glad in the Lord and rejoice,you righteous ones;shout for joy,all you upright in heart.

Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous ones;praise from the upright is beautiful.

For our hearts rejoice in Himbecause we trust in His holy name.

Then I will rejoice in the Lord;I will delight in His deliverance.

Do not let my deceitful enemies rejoice over me;do not let those who hate me without causelook at me maliciously.

Vindicate me, Lord my God,in keeping with Your righteousness,and do not let them rejoice over me.

Let those who rejoice at my misfortunebe disgraced and humiliated;let those who exalt themselves over mebe clothed with shame and reproach.

For I said, “Don’t let them rejoice over me—those who are arrogant toward me when I stumble.”

Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;let those who love Your salvation continually say,“The Lord is great!”

Mount Zion is glad.The towns of Judah rejoicebecause of Your judgments.

Let me hear joy and gladness;let the bones You have crushed rejoice.

Oh, that Israel’s deliverance would come from Zion!When God restores the fortunes of His people,Jacob will rejoice; Israel will be glad.

The righteous one will rejoicewhen he sees the retribution;he will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

because You are my helper;I will rejoice in the shadow of Your wings.

But the king will rejoice in God;all who swear by Him will boast,for the mouths of liars will be shut.

The righteous one rejoices in the Lordand takes refuge in Him;all those who are upright in heartwill offer praise.

But the righteous are glad;they rejoice before God and celebrate with joy.

Sing to God! Sing praises to His name.Exalt Him who rides on the clouds —His name is Yahweh—and rejoice before Him.

The humble will see it and rejoice.You who seek God, take heart!

Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;let those who love Your salvationcontinually say, “God is great!”

Will You not revive us againso that Your people may rejoice in You?

They rejoice in Your name all day long,and they are exalted by Your righteousness.

You have lifted high the right hand of his foes;You have made all his enemies rejoice.

Make us rejoice for as many days as You have humbled us,for as many years as we have seen adversity.

so that I may enjoy the prosperityof Your chosen ones,rejoice in the joy of Your nation,and boast about Your heritage.

Save us, Yahweh our God,and gather us from the nations,so that we may give thanks to Your holy nameand rejoice in Your praise.

The upright see it and rejoice,and all injustice shuts its mouth.

Though they curse, You will bless.When they rise up, they will be put to shame,but Your servant will rejoice.

This is the day the Lord has made;let us rejoice and be glad in it.

I rejoice in the way revealed by Your decreesas much as in all riches.

Those who fear You will see me and rejoice,for I put my hope in Your word.

I rejoice over Your promiselike one who finds vast treasure.

Let Israel celebrate its Maker;let the children of Zion rejoice in their King.
