'Shepherd' in the Bible

you shall say, ‘Your servants have been keepers of livestock from our youth even until now, both we and our fathers,’ that you may live in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is loathsome to the Egyptians.”

He blessed Joseph, and said,“The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked,The God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day,

“Woe to the worthless shepherdWho leaves the flock!A sword will be on his armAnd on his right eye!His arm will be totally witheredAnd his right eye will be blind.”

“Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd,And against the man, My Associate,”Declares the Lord of hosts.“Strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered;And I will turn My hand against the little ones.
