'Spoke' in the Bible
After the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed, and were saying, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”
Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to Jesus, and He healed him, so that the mute man spoke and saw.
And He spoke many things to them in parables, saying, “Behold, the sower went out to sow;
He spoke another parable to them, “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened.”
All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable.
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”
He *said, “Yes.” And when he came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth collect customs or poll-tax, from their sons or from strangers?”
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Now Simon’s mother-in-law was lying sick with a fever; and immediately they *spoke to Jesus about her.
for they all saw Him and were terrified. But immediately He spoke with them and *said to them, “Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid.”
They *brought to Him one who was deaf and spoke with difficulty, and they *implored Him to lay His hand on him.
They spoke to them just as Jesus had told them, and they gave them permission.
And they were seeking to seize Him, and yet they feared the people, for they understood that He spoke the parable against them. And so they left Him and went away.
But regarding the fact that the dead rise again, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the burning bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from of old—

But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
These words He spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one seized Him, because His hour had not yet come.
This figure of speech Jesus spoke to them, but they did not understand what those things were which He had been saying to them.
