'Statement' in the Bible
But she was deeply troubled by this statement, wondering what kind of greeting this could be.
When they had seen this, they made known the statement which had been told them about this Child.
But they did not understand the statement which He had made to them.
Overwhelmed with amazement, they all kept saying to one another, "What kind of statement is this? because with authority and power he gives orders to unclean spirits, and they come out!"
But they did not understand this statement; it was concealed from them so that they could not grasp it, and they were afraid to ask Him about it.
And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit [that is, whoever intentionally discredits the Holy Spirit by attributing the authenticating miracles done by Me to Satan], it will not be forgiven him [for him there is no forgiveness].
So they watched Him, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, in order that they might catch Him in some statement, so that they could deliver Him to the rule and the authority of the governor.
And they were not able to catch [him] in a statement in the sight of the people, and astonished at his answer, they became silent.
