'Abide' in the Bible
And he says to them, My soul is full of grief even unto death; abide here and watch.
And as he got out of the ship on the land, a certain man out of the city met him, who had demons a long time, and put on no clothes, and did not abide in a house, but in the tombs.
And into whatsoever house ye enter, there abide and thence go forth.
And in the same house abide, eating and drinking such things as they have; for the workman is worthy of his hire. Remove not from house to house.
When therefore the Samaritans came to him they asked him to abide with them, and he abode there two days.
Jesus therefore said to the Jews who believed him, If ye abide in my word, ye are truly my disciples;
I am come into the world as light, that every one that believes on me may not abide in darkness;

And now, children, abide in him, that if he be manifested we may have boldness, and not be put to shame from before him at his coming.
Hereby we know that we abide in him and he in us, that he has given to us of his Spirit.
