'Adultery' in the Bible
Do not commit adultery.
If a man commits adultery with a married woman—if he commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

The Lord said to Moses, “You are about to rest with your fathers, and these people will soon commit adultery with the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will abandon Me and break the covenant I have made with them.

“Which ones?” he asked Him. Jesus answered:Do not murder;do not commit adultery;do not steal;do not bear false witness;
And He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.
Also, if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
You know the commandments:Do not murder;do not commit adultery;do not steal;do not bear false witness;do not defraud;honor your father and mother.”
“Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and everyone who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.
You know the commandments:Do not commit adultery;do not murder;do not steal;do not bear false witness;honor your father and mother.”
Then the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, making her stand in the center.
“Teacher,” they said to Him, “this woman was caught in the act of committing adultery.
You who say, “You must not commit adultery”—do you commit adultery? You who detest idols, do you rob their temples?
The commandments:Do not commit adultery;do not murder;do not steal;do not covet;and whatever other commandment—all are summed up by this: Love your neighbor as yourself.
For He who said, Do not commit adultery, also said, Do not murder. So if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you are a lawbreaker.
They have eyes full of adultery and are always looking for sin. They seduce unstable people and have hearts trained in greed. Children under a curse!
Look! I will throw her into a sickbed and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her practices.
